September Release For New MGMT Album?

MGMT are currently in the studio, with plans for a September album release, revealed Rob Stringer, Chairman and CEO of Columbia Records in the US, while speaking with TMN last week. The entire interview will be available to read in tomorrow’s newsletter, during which he mentioned that the band are in good spirits, and the label “feel very good” about the upcoming release.

Being a concept artist would be so fun. I mean I’m sure it’s difficult having to constantly come up with designs and ideas, but that’s also kind of the best part. You could just let your imagination run wild
